Position Description

The successful candidate will contribute to expanding the department’s role in the epidemiologic study of Alzheimer disease, as part of the program for clinical epidemiology. He or she will work in the Alzheimer Cohorts Consortium, which comprises eight population-based cohorts of Alzheimer disease in the US and Europe, on putative causes of Alzheimer disease and related dementias. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct empirical research in Alzheimer disease epidemiology and to participate actively in teaching and in the direction of training programs in this area.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates should have graduate-level training in epidemiology, or a medical degree, or substantial experience with the application or development of epidemiologic methods in clinical research. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching in the field of clinical epidemiology.
