Position Description

The Fellow will be working under the guidance of Vice Provost and Prof. Peter Bol helping to manage the China Biographical Database project. The Fellow should have scholarly knowledge of some field of Chinese history or literature and expertise in some field of the Digital Humanities for Chinese studies. Fluency in both Chinese and English is required. S/he will work to create greater online collaborations with centers for Chinese studies around the world and offer instruction, training and support for Harvard students and faculty. Candidate must hold an advanced degree.

This is a two-year term appointment with the possibility of renewal based on funding and performance.

Basic Qualifications

Must have scholarly knowledge of some field of Chinese history or literature and expertise in some field of the Digital Humanities for Chinese studies.

Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.

Must hold an advanced degree.
